Stephen Hazell is founder of Ecovision and a retired environmental lawyer. His experience is unique in that he has held senior management positions in four national environmental organizations, a federal government agency, and a leading Ottawa-based consulting firm. Stephen served as policy director and general counsel at Nature Canada until December 2019, and continued to serve as counsel to Nature Canada on a pro bono basis until 2022. Stephen has also taught environmental law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa.
